● Files never leave your device Crop video & change aspect ratio
Change a video’s shape for any platform — landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, or custom. Choose Contain to letterbox, Cover to crop, or Stretch — and a live preview shows exactly what the output frame will look like before you render.
Everything happens in this browser tab on your own device — your video is never uploaded to a server, so even multi-gigabyte files stay private. The reframing runs on the GPU through WebGPU where available.
How to
- Add your video. Drop the video you want to reframe.
- Pick an aspect ratio. Choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or another ratio, and a fit mode (contain / cover / stretch).
- Preview & export. Watch the live output preview, then export the reframed video.
Frequently asked questions
- What’s the difference between contain and cover?
- Contain fits the whole frame and adds letterbox/pillarbox bars; Cover fills the frame by cropping the overflow.
- Can I make a vertical (9:16) video?
- Yes — pick the 9:16 aspect ratio and choose how the source should fit.
- Is it processed locally?
- Yes — entirely on your device.
