havenConverter is built privacy-first. Every video operation happens entirely in your device’s browser; your files are never uploaded to a server.
Your files never leave your device
Converting, compressing, trimming, merging, watermarking, audio mixing and timeline exports are performed locally with WebCodecs, WebGPU and a self-hosted ffmpeg.wasm build. Your videos are never uploaded, stored or shared.
No third-party tracking, no cookies
We use no ads, no profiling and no third-party tracking cookies. Only on-device browser storage is used, for your theme preference and the offline cache of the app itself. For usage measurement we use only cookieless, first-party Haven Analytics (detailed below).
Network requests
Your file contents are never sent in any request. The app works offline; its processing engines are downloaded from this domain on first use. Each page loads our cookieless, first-party Haven Analytics script (analytics.ipekbayrak.com.tr), which counts anonymous page views and which tool was used — coarse facts such as “transcode, MP4, hardware path”. File names, sizes and contents are never included. The script honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If a job fails, a short anonymous error summary (with file names stripped) is counted so we can fix it; text you submit via “Report a problem” is sent to us — only the text you write and your browser/app version, never file names, sizes or contents.
GDPR / KVKK
Because no personal data is processed on a server, your data stays under your control. You can clear the local data in your browser (theme preference and the offline cache) at any time.
